So Blog Overlord Lawson’s not really dead (though that did grab your attention, huh?), instead just moving on to the “real world” following graduation, which in the end may actually be a fate worse than death.
What all this means for Hoya Paranoia is that Lawson won’t be running things here anymore. I kind of alluded to it in the Weekend Review below, but instead, he, Pat Curran, and new Senior Sports Editor Evan Hollander have left Paranoia in my hands, which I’d like to think are highly capable ones. I guess we’ll find out. You’ve probably — I hope — seen my blog posts over the course of the last year, so I feel as if I have a good grasp of what we’re trying to achieve, and I’ll do my best to keep the stories quick, the tone light, and the information, well, informative.
As Georgetown’s sports teams are obviously approaching the end of their respective seasons, I’d like to make it clear that we will keep this blog running over the summer months. We’re going to include a mix of posts each week on a variety of national and international sports, so stick around for features on the MLB regular season along with coverage of the NBA playoffs, international soccer, the Olympics, and the horseracing Triple Crown, among others.
It’s gonna be a fun ride, so be sure to stay tuned. Hoya Saxa.
